Mothers development
Your pants may start to feel a little snug around the waist with your uterus now twice as big as normal.
You may notice the emergence of tiny little bumps around your nipples. These are referred to as “Glands of Montgomery” or “Areolar Glands”. These glands produce an oily secretion that will lubricate the nipples and areola when it is time for breastfeeding. The secretion also contains antibacterial agents that counteract bacterial growth. A noticeable and not uncommon trait might be the deterioration of your skin with acne. You might also experience a little bleeding in your gums as they become tender. The mucous membranes are also affected by the pregnancy. Nasal congestion and nose bleeds are common. But not to worry. These symptoms are not dangerous.
